Our inaugural Minecraft for Teachers workshop is scheduled for July 31, at 8:00 PM EST. We’ll be focusing on working out all the bugs with TeamSpeak, which will be a critical tool to allowing large groups of teachers to communicate. We’ll also be giving a tour of the server and letting you know what resources are available to teachers. The first speakers hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we’re planning on having an experienced Minecraft educator talk about Minecraft basics in the classroom.
We think this will be a great resource that will be available to teachers 24/7 for you to put on your own workshops or attend professional development sessions put on by #Minecraft4Ts or #Minecraftedu. All are welcome to put on their own training workshops. As you will see in the Teacher Zone, there is ample space to accommodate everyone.
lease email me, Mark Cheverton, so I can add you to the Minecraft server as well as send you the login information for TeamSpeak. We hope you enjoy yourselves here and find it to be a useful resource.
