Aquatic update 1.13

As I’m sure you’re all aware, Mojang released the 1.13 update. Likely, you’re all asking “When is the Gameknight999 server gonna be updated?”

Well, it takes a while for us to do the update. We have to wait on the server software we run, plus there are tons of different software tools that allow the server to operate and give you all the cool features like kits, or shops, or anti-griefing protection, or mini-games, or . . . All of these individual software pieces must be updated by the developers; some of them are critical and the server cannot be started without them. So right now, we’re in a holding pattern, waiting for all the pieces to be updated to 1.13. 

But let me tell you what we’re going to be adding to the server:

1. New Lobby – We’re going to have a brand new lobby that some of the older members might remember . . . you see when it’s ready.
2. New Survival – We’ll be making a new survival world that will have lots of cool stuff and lots of ocean to explore.
3. New Mini-game server – Mini-games will all be hosted on their own server. Some of the games we’re thinking about are:
   • Paintball
   • KitPvP
   • TNT-Run
   • SkyWars
   • Mob Arena
   • Zombies Attack RPG
   • maybe others
4. New Hardcore server – for those of you that remember the Infernal Mobs . . . they’re back. I’m having the software developed by our programmer in the Netherlands, Dev_Luca. This will be super cool, but only for the hardiest of Minecrafters. There will be no kits on this server. If you die, you lose your XP and your inventory, no matter what. Hardcore will be hard, so only play on this server if you can take it.
5. Shopping Mall – There will be a specialized shopping mall where you can make your shops in your own plots.
6. Overhead server map – Survival, Hardcore, Creative, and the Shopping mall will be visible on the overhead map . . . I think this is gonna be really cool. Let’s see what you can build. 
7. Donations – The donation server will be turned on again, with some really cool donator features. People have been asking for this for a while, so it’ll be here soon. 

You can see we’re trying to do a lot, but there is only myself and Quadbamber to do all this work. It’ll take a while so please be patient. I know many of you will ask to help, but because we’re doing things at the server level, only myself and Quad can do it.
