SERVER UPDATES
Survival Server – We have repaired most of the physical damage to the Survival Server after being griefed, however, as many of you have found, the shop is still not open. All the data for all the items for sale in the shop has been deleted. It will take a significant amount of work to get that open. We are working on it, but it will take time. Please be patient.
Creative Server – The griefer did significant damage to the Creative server. We were able to repair some of the damage, but he also did some damage to the software. The Creative Server is very glitchy now, partially because of the griefer, but also because the software that runs the Creative is not compatible with version 1.9. There is no update to the creative plots software, and the developer that wrote this software package has completely abandoned that program. As a result, we will need to move to a new Creative plots software package that will require a complete restart of that world. That means, unfortunately, all of your work will be lost. Quadbamber was able to save a copy of the world and make it available for download, the link is below:

We will get the new creative server working as quickly as possible. After installation and testing, the server will be opened, but not until it is working properly.
Hardcore server – The griefer did significant damage to the Hardcore server. In addition, the Infernal Mobs plugin is not responding well to Minecraft 1.9. It does not look likely that we will be able to save this world. Sadly, it must bid farewell to another fallen server tribute. The world is much too large to download and the world file has become corrupted. Therefore, the Hardcore world file will not be available for download . . . sorry, but we don’t have much control over this.
New Servers
- Paintball – We are having a custom paintball software developed just for the Gameknight999 Minecraft Network. It will be similar to the Survival Games server, with multiple arenas and multiple games going on at the same time.
- Kit PvP – We have new Kit PvP software that looks hopeful. We’ll get that set up and start doing some testing after creative is up and running.
- Skyblocks/skywars – We are looking at some software for Skyblocks and Skywars. It is our hope that we can have this working soon, but again, we have to do significant testing to make sure the software manages memory properly, communicates to the database properly, and the anti-hack plugins are in place.
Sorry for all these delays, the griefer hit at exactly the wrong time, when we were working on getting everything upgraded to 1.9. Rest assured we are working diligently, but my motto is “School First!” The programmers and developers must focus on school first and Minecraft second, as should all of you. We’ll get things up and running as quickly as possible.
